不親切な用語解説--「matrix」
matrix、映画でおなじみのこの語句、一般的には数学の『行列』を意味することは知っている。
が、印刷用語でもあることを最近知った。
以下に調べた結果を掲載する。
因みに発音は、
matrix /méitriks/、複数形は2種類あり、matrices /méitrisiːz/、matrixes /méitriksiz/。
